Trinity’s journey has been marked by challenges, resilience, and unwavering determination. From a young age, she faced pulmonary issues without access to health insurance, relying on herbal remedies administered by her family.
During the pandemic, Trinity and her family became homeless, disrupting her education and access to basic necessities. Forced to drop out of school, Trinity’s dreams were put on hold. However, with the help of friends, she found a room to rent and resumed her education, working towards her GED while pursuing her passion to become a medical technologist.
At the age of 19, Trinity received a diagnosis of Homozygous Cystic Fibrosis with pancreatic atrophy, adding yet another layer of challenge to her journey. Without health insurance, her treatment became a financial burden, but with support, she found hope.
In December 2023, Trinity received an AffloVest from Tactile Medical, easing the financial strain of her treatments. Trinity’s positivity and optimism continue to shine, bringing hope for a bright future.
